These are to certifie whom it may Con[ce]rne yt Thomas Newson of Towcester in ye County of North[amp]ton[shire] laborer was in the late warrs for ye servis for his late Ma[jes]tie under my command as a common souldier and in ye s[ai]d servis was wounded, in testimonie whereof I have heareunto sett my hand & seale ye seuenth day of Aprill in ye fourteenth yeare of King Charles ye Second and in ye yeare of {o[u]r} Lord 1662.
