These may Certifie all whome it doth Concerne that Major Thomas Latimer seru’d under ye Commaunde of ye Lord Hopton very faithfully and well becominge a good Souldier untill he was made uncapable by a shott in ye Necke w[hi]ch he receiued in Bristoll when it was besieged by S[i]r Thomas Fairfax, upon which account he had liberty to repaire to his dwellinge House in ord[e]r to his Cure, Witness Our Hands & Seales this one and twentith day of June A[nn]o 1660
