Gentlemen.

Haveinge received Informac[i]on from Persons of Creditt That Thomas Jordan of Stafford, Freemason, hath faithfullie served the Com[m]onwealth in theis late Warrs, and therein was wounded and lost the vse of his lefte hand, whereby he was disinabled to gett a Competent livelyhood, for himselfe his wife and three Children, And in that respect, had a Penc[i]on allowed vnto him, w[hi]ch is since taken from him, Wee therefore desire you would take such Care, That the said Jordan may have such Priviledges, as the State doth allow in Requitall of his losse and faithfull service, And that his Penc[i]on may be continued vnto him, And wee (as formerlie) shall Rest.
