To the right worshipfull to whome it may concerne be it known that Thomas Holman of West Rudham did serue in the state s[er]uice for the space of six yeares and vpward and haue receyved in that service much harme in his sight by reason whereof he is very vnable to worke as other pore men doe to gett his liuing and his wife aged threscore and ten yeares and vpward and theis his neyghbours of the towne of West Rudham whose names are heare vnder written ar desirous and willing that the sayd Thomas Hallman may draw beare as he haue formerly done there fiue or six yeares
