These are to Certifie all whom yt may Concerne. That Thomas Butcher off Haslington in the Countie of Chester was A souldier vnder my Com[m]and. And that hee was shott in his Arme, & lamed; in the service for the state before the Castell att Hardine in Flintshire. And that hee allwayes Carried himselffe Faythffully & valiantlye. This I make bold to Certifie vnder my hand & seale. The 7th off Octo[ber] 1650
