These are to certify that Henry Coles served the Parliament vnder my command in the County of Wilts[hire] behauing himselfe faythfully honestly & valiantly as become a souldier of his Quality; & that he was slaine in the sayd seruice leaueing behind a widdow w[i]th seuerall smale Children, who are fit obiects of charity, & are hereby especially recommended to the Justices of peace ofor the sayd County to bee prouided for, as is directed by the ordinance of Parliament for widdowes maimed souldiers & widdowes, by
