These are to certifie you whom it may concerne that Rowland ap John of Bangor the Bearer hereof hath byn a soldier in his Late Maiesties of renowmed memories service vnder Maior Manley & ever continued true faithfull & loyall to his now Maiesties, & never disserted his cause or service, And this we whose names are vnderwritten doe testifie, craving a proporc[i]on for him. he being poore & necessitous.
