To ye worship[fu]ll his ma[jes]ties Justices of ye peace of ye County of Denbigh sitting at Ruthin the 8th day of Occtober [sic.] 1672

Wee {who}se names are subscribed on the b{eh}alfe of Rose Caldecot widdow of Holt & penc[i]oner doe hearby make bould to certifye yt she is aliue, but by rason [sic] of ould age weaknes of body & infirmity of helth is not able to trauell soe far as the Sessions (who alsoe had her arme shot by ye enymye in ye  warr tyme beeing maimed w[i]t[h] ye s[ai]d hurt) & therfore humbly prayeth yt she may be admitted to imploy some freind to receiue her penc[i]on dated the seuenth of Occtober 1672.
