To the Right Wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]ties Justices of peace for the County of Denbigh.

These are to certifie that Roger Price of Holt in ye s[ai]d County was a sargeant to my Company in the Regim[en]t of S[i]r John Owens that he is truly loyall and Indigent & hath neu[er] to the best of my knowledge deserted his Ma[jes]ties, or his blessed fathers service dureing ye late tyme of Rebellions, and that he hath not a sufficient livelyhood of his owne. Wherefore I doe hereby recommend him as a p[er]son fitt to receive such an yearely penc[i]on as by his Ma[jes]ties lawes hath p[ro]vided for such truely loyall & Indigent soldiers

Given vnder my hand & seale the xxiiith day of Aprill anno Caroli s[e]c[un]di dei grac[ia] Anglie &c. xvo An[n]o dom[ini] 1663.
