Wee whose names are vnder written doe certifie that Roger Hollis hath served in the Parliament service two yeares and vpwards vnder the Comaund of Maior Wansey whoe was verie faithfull in that service and hath bin hath hurt thereby insoemuch that he is not able to worke nor helpe himself towards his maynetenance but like to perish, his freinds being poore and not able to releeue him In witnes whereof wee haue herevnto sett our hands the 26th of Aprill 1648
