These are to Certifie, that Robert Webber of Sanford Peueyrell in the County of Devon: hath formerly serued his Ma[jes]tie of blessed Memorye kinge Charles the first in all that vnhappie warrs heere in England vnder the Command of Collonell Thomas Walker and was ever faithfull in the said service, never knowne to be wau[e]ringe in the least but continued steadfast to the end but by the lyinge in the Cold and other Myshaps which befelld him in the sayed service; is not any way able to gett his Maintenance; all most looseinge the vse of one of his legges and is att this present a meere obiect of Charitie
