The certificate for Robert Redfearne of Bakewell, Derbyshire, 15 July 1689

These are to Certifye whome itt may Concerne that Rob[er]t Redfearne of Bakewell was a Souldier in the late Civill warrs vnder the Command of Capt[ain] Terrell and behaued himselfe as a good Subject & Souldier for the Service of the late King Charles the first, and neuer deserted from his Colours and wee doe further Certifye that the s[ai]d Rob[er]t Redfearne had a Certificate formerly & was entred into the Clerk of the Peaces Book all which wee are Credibly informed & doe beleiue

Witness our hands the fifteenth day of July 1689.
