For the Instance of Robert Keen: Wee whose na[m]es are hereunto subscribed. Doe hereby certify and Declare. That ye said Robert served in his late Maiesty of ever blessed & glorious memories service first a private Souldier under Capt[ain] Pierce Butler & afterwardes a Trooper in Col[one]l Richard Grace his Troope in his highness Prince Ruperts regiment of horse, And in ye service Deported himself very constant, Loyall, and faithfull from ye very begining of ye wars of England till ye Royall party weare quite extinct, In Testimony whearof Wee hereunto sett our hands ye Eighteene Day of Janary 1662
