These are to certifie all whom it may concerne, That ye bear[e]r hereof Robert Evans of Bang[o]r in ye Countie of Caern[ar]uon Smith hath serv[e]d his late Ma[jes]tie King Charles ye first (of blessed Memory) in ye late warres & distractions in England & Wales vnd[e]r ye Com[m]and of Col[one]l S[i]r William Williames, Baronett, Col[one]l S[i]r John Owens, Kn[igh]t, Col[one]l Richard Bulkeley Esq[ui]r[e], & Col[one]l Robinson Esq[ui]r[e]s regiment vnd[e]r ye Com[m]and of Capt[ain] Hugh Owens in ye regim[en]ts afores[ai]d, in w[hi]ch warres (as appeares) he hath rec[eive]d many dangerous shotts & wounds whereby he is rendered vncapable of bodily labo[u]r for ye maintenance of himselfe & wife, All w[hi]ch is ye Trueth of ye pr[e]mises & ye bear[e]rs Condic[i]on as wittnesseth o[u]r hands.
