Theis may Certifie all whom it Concernes

That Richard Wright of Rawstorne in ye County of Chester Lynenwebster, was a Trowper vnd[e]r my Comand, And yt hee was w[i]th mee at Marston Moor fight; att Ormiskirk and seu[er]all other places dureing ye first Warr; That hee is truly loyall and Indigent, and hath never to ye best of my knowledge or Informac[i]on deserted his Ma[jes]ty yt now is; nor his blessed fathers service dureing ye late tymes of Rebellion & vsurpac[i]on. And yt hee hath not a sufficient lyvelyhood of his owne nor hath since his Ma[jes]t[y’]s returne, obtained any reward office & Imploym[en]t sufficient for a lyvelyhood, wherfore I do recomend him to yo[u]r Considerac[i]on, as an Indigent Souldier to receave such Pension or allowance as may bee adjudged most meete for his quality; & Condic[i]on; according to Act of Parliam[en]t in that behaulfe lately made & provuded.
