At the request of Richard Twesdell wee doe Certefie; that hee was for severall yeares in ye parliam[en]t servis and hath seuerall wounds to be seene upon his body (the w[hi]ch as wee are credible informed he receued in ye parliam[en]t Armie) by reason of w[hi]ch as alsoe of his great sicknesse and greate charge he is reduced to extreeme pouertie: the cause of our Knowledge is that he hath liued in Barkhamsteed ever sence Wo[rce]ster Fight: Giuen vnder our hands this 6th of Jan[uary]: 1658
