These are to Certifie whome it may concerne that Richard Crane of Thorp Malzor in the County of North[amp]ton[shire] did to my Knowledge Serue his Late Majesty in the warrs and in the Castle of Banbury vnder the Commaund of Major Colborne untill the Castle was taken and euer since hath liued Soberly at the said Thorp Malz[or] & hath not vndertaken any other Seruice in the warrs.
