These are to certifie you whome it may conserne that Richard ab Edward of Bangor the bearer hereof hath bine a souldier in his Ma[jes]ties of Renownd memory service, vnder Major Manly, & euer Continued true, faith[fu]ll & Loyall to his now Maj[es]tes, & neuer disserted his cause or service, & this wee whose names are vnderwritten doe testifie concerninge a proportion for him he is poore & Indigent.
