These are to Certify all whom it may Concerne that the bearer hereof [illegible] Raph Finney hath always binn well affected to the pr[e]sent Governm[en]t: of this Commonwealth, & Received his wounds in the States Service, at Eccleshall Castle & at Loumfort, vnder my Com[m]and this I knowe to bee truthe otherwise I should not have taken the bouldnesse to have Certified it.
