Wee whose names are subscribed doe make bold to certifie that the bearer hereof Peter Kingdon of Silferton in the County of Devon Taylor serued as Clearke and priuate Souldier in the Company of Captaine Reeues in the Regiment of the right hono[u]r[a]ble S[i]r John Acland Baronett att the Seige of Exon where he rec[eive]d two wounds which doe much disable him to gett his livinge And therefore humbly desireth that he may for the future be admitted to receive a penc[i]on yearely out of the Gaole and hospitall money as other Maymed Souldiers of this County doe All which wee leaue to your wor[shi]pps Considerac[i]on and subscribe our selues
