These are to Certifie that the bearer hearof Oliu[e]r Simpson was a Sould[ie]r in my Regim[en]t vnder the Comand of Major Henrie Bradhsaw & was wounded in the Leagure before this Cittie about eight dayes before the Surrend[e]r thereof, of w[hi]ch wounds hee is not yett Cured beinge vnable to releiue him selfe my request is that hee may haue allowance as other Maimed Sould[ie]rs haue Giuen vnd[e]r my hand Jan[uary] 23d 1649
