Wee whose names are hereunder written do certifie whom it doth or may concern That Nicholas Atherton of Croston in the County of Lancaster was a Souldier in the service of our Late Sovereign Lord King Charles the First of Blessed memory Two yeares in the North & Three yeares in the South under the Comand of Colonell Wogen, Captain John Leech & Lievetenant Bartholomew Hough witness our hands the Twenty Sixth of May 1676.
