Theis are to Certifie whom itt may concerne that Morris Jones did serue his late Ma[jes]tie in the Garrison of Holt Castle vnder my com[m]and for the space of three yeares in the late vnhappy warrs, in w[hi]ch service he did faithfully behaue himselfe, and receiued a shott, And I haue credibly heard that he was in service for his Ma[jes]tie that now is vnder the Comand of S[i]r George Booth in the riseing at Chester: Giuen vnder my hand the 9th day of September 1664.
