Theise are to Certefie all whom it may concerne That Capt[ai]n Hugh Culme did serue as Capt[ai]n of A Troop of Horse vnder the Command of S[i]r W[illia]m Brereton Commander in cheife of the Cheshire Forces and the Forces of the Adiacent Counties, and p[er]formed very good Seruice fro[m] the date of his Commision beeing the first day of december 1644, vntill the 25th day of September 1645 at w[hi]ch time hee was slaine in the battell at Rawton Heath in Cheshire, and was in actuall Seruice all that said time: Witnes my hand and Seale this fourth day of August 1646.
