These are to Certifie that Thomas Bourgh serued as Ensigne and Leiftennt to that Company whearof Leiftnnt Col[one]l Gray was Capt[ain] in Col[one]l Walter Floydes Regiment, and afterworgs [sic.] Comaunded by me in the Army vnder the Comaund of his Excellencie the Lord Fairfax, during which tyme of his said seruice he behaued himselfe valiently and Faithfully till the tyme he was slaine at the stormeing of Bristoll, all which I Leaue to the Charitable Consideration of those whom it may Concearne giuen vnder my hand this 25 october 1648.
