These are to Certifie vnto ye Justices of ye peace w[i]th{in} the County aforesaid whom it may concerne Th{at} Lawrence Dunderdell of Lan[caste]r surgeon was {a} surgeon in ye Regim[en]t of S[i]r John Girlington and did Cure [illegible] 120 soldiers in the said Regim[en]t & was euer a true & loyall subiecte to his Ma[jes]tie of blessed memorie & his Ma[jes]tie yt nowe is, and hath hath sufferred manie hardshipps for his loyalty And hee beeinge verye poore & in necessity wee thinke him a Fitt p[er]son to have some reasonable pension out of the Charge of ye p[ar]ishes accordinge to ye [statute] Acte in yt Case made & p[ro]vided In testimonie whereof wee haue subscribed o[u]r names ye 7th day of 8ber 1662.
