These are to Certifie you; that yo[u]r petic[i]oner Lancelott Hughes of Bersham is very ill att present by reason of a fall that hee, had vpon Satterday Last past vpon his Side and hath Cruscht his Ribs that hee is not able to come himselfe to Waite vpon this Worshipefull Courte to receaue his pention: But Desires and Prayeth that you would paye it to the bearer hereof and hee with his wife & smale Children shall Euer pray for yo[u]r further encrease of health and Happieness.
