We whose names are subscribed the vicar and Churchwardens of the parish of Frodesham and ye Inhabitants of the Towne of Kingesley doe presume to certifie that the petic[i]on of Jatherin Pue widowe herevnto Annexed is in all p[ar]ticulers verie true: And therefore we doe humblie present her sad and deplorable Condic[i]on to yo[u]r wor[shi]pps as a fitt obiect of pittie and Compassion: Given vnder our hands the tenth daye of this instant Aprill 1666.
