The certificate for John Woodward of Easton Neston, Northamptonshire, 9 January 1677

These are to certifie all whom it may concerne that John Woodward of Easton neare Toister in this County of Northampton[shire] serued his late Majesty in ye times of Rebellion as a Leiftenant in my Regiment where he receiued many wounds whereby he is utterly disabled for doeing any further service, and is now become very Indigent, and as I conceiue a very fitt object to receiue ye charity of ye County as a pentioner. Wittness my hand this ninth day of January 1676.
