These are to certifie that the Bearer hereof John Skinner the late vp vnhappie warres did faithfully serve his Ma[jes]tie vnder our Comands in the Earle of Northamptons Regement of horse as Trop Trooper and Corporall and was wounded in that service Given vnder my our hands the Twentith day of March 1662
