These are to certifie yt John Rowlinson & Richard Warburton Inhabitants of Warburton in ye County of Cheshire were soldiers in my troope in S[i]r Robert Byron’s Regiment of horse & to ye best of my knowledge or information haue neuer diserted his Matiestiey or his blessed fathers seruice, during ye late times of rebellion & vsurpation, & yt they haue not a sufficient liuelihood of theyre owne, wherefore I doe here recom[m]end them as Persons fitt to receaue a proportion of all such moneys as are in yt case allowed by Act of Parliament. Dated att Rixton this fourth day of October 1662
