Whereas we whose names are hereunder written are appointed to view the wounded and maimed Soldiers of this Countie of Devon doe certifye that we haue viewed the woundes of the bearer hereof John Pound of Dartm[out]h husbandman And doe conceiue the aforesaid John Pound to be by his said woundes very much disinabled for the gaining of his mainteynance by his labor as formerly he hath done Witnesse our handes this third day of October 1662
