These are to certifie his Ma[jes]ties Justices and others whome these may concerne that the bearer hereof John Peacocke hath for divers yeares served his late Ma[jes]tie in the late warrs as a Soldier in the Regiment of Col[one]l Robert Werden and vnder the Comand of Major John Phillipps and hath alwayes contineued faythfull to his late Ma[jes]tie as well as his Ma[jes]tie that now is; whereby hee hath been a sufferer in his capacity and therefore wee doe adiudge him a person and obiect meet to be taken into considerac[i]on for his support and maintenance in his old age. In testimony whereof wee whose names are vnder written haue subscribed our hands this Twenty first day of Aprill in the yeare of our Lord 1673
