To the wo[rshi]pp[fu]ll his Mai[es]ties Justices of the Peace for the County of Denbigh.

These are to certify that John Lloyd of Gresford Parish hath formerly serued his late Ma[jes]tie of Blessed memory in the late warres vnder my Comand; and did receaue some wounds in the seruice and hath continewed euer all along faithfull  and loyall to his Mai[es]tie and his interest vpon all occassions and therefore conceaue him a fitt obiect of his Mai[es]ties grace and your fauo[u]r to be allowed a Pentioner according to the late Act of Parliam[en]t in that case made and Prouided, giuen vnder my hand this 17th day of October 1664
