The certificate for John King, City of London, 18 April 1653

It appeares vnto me by the cert{ificate from} the Constable of Charlton that John King was imprest at Charlton for the service of the Parliam[en]t of England and went as a sold[ie]r into Ireland and is maymed, I conceiue it fitt he should be looked vpon w[i]th an eye of Charitye. He hath had of Charlton parish the some of two shillings and two shillings six pence yet he was in Charlton but two months and that but as a lodger and wrought at Wolw[i]ch
