Whereas John Curtiss of ye p[ar]ish of Horsham being of sixty seauen yeares of age and hath actually bore Armes in his late Maj[es]t[y’]s seruice and doth still continue a Loyall Subject, and hauing already a Pention of Fourty Shillings p[er] ann[um] wee whose hands are hereunto sett doe desire that you would graunt him twenty shillings a yeare more Dated ye twenty nynth of September Anno Dom[ini] 1683
