To the hon[oura]ble Com[missione]rs for distributinge of moneys Given by the Act of Parliament among the truely loyall and Indigent Soldiers

These are to Certifie that it doth appeare vnto vs That John ap Richard of the parish of Ruabon in the com[itatus] of Denbigh hath Served faithfully and valiantly vnder the Comand of Coll[onel] Robert Ellice esq[ui]r[e] And that he is truely loyall and Indigent And hath neu[er] to the Best of our knowledge or informac[i]on deserted his Ma[je]sties or his Blessed fathers Service dureinge the late times of rebellion & vsurpac[i]on And that he hath not a Sufficient Livelyhood of his owne to maintaine his Wief and five Small Children nor Since his Ma[je]sties returne hath obtayned any reward office or implyment sufficient for a Livelyhood. Wherefore wee doe hereby recom[m]end him a p[er]son fitt to receaue a p[ro]porc[i]on of all Such moneys as are to be by distributed Accordinge to Act of Parliament: Dated ye eight and Twentieth day of September a[nn]o D[o]m[ini] 1664.
