The certificate for John ap Hugh Parry of Llanrwst, Denbighshire, 5 January 1670

These are to certifie that the Bearer hereof John ap Hugh Parry of the parish of Llanrwst did truely and faithfully serve his late ma[jes]ty vnder the Com[m]and of  Col[one]l [illegible] Hugh Wynne & in my Company; & afterwards vnder the seu[er]all & respectiue Com[m]ands of theire highnesse the Duke of Albemarle & Prince Rupert for the full space of fiue y[ea]rs in w[hi]ch service he hath sustained seu[er]all bruises & made incapable to labor for his livelihood, In wittnesse whereof I haue herevnto subscribed my name this 5t day of January 1669
