The Certificate of John Allsope sheweth that he hath faithfullye served the p[ar]lement and was A troop[er] vnder the Command of Collonell Ludlowe att Salsburye in the Com[ita]tu of Wilts[hire] the last day of December 1646 being Commanded vpon Service ther was by the Enimye very dangerouslye wounded and taken prisoner havinge both his Eyes cut out and was most Barborouslye vsed and left for dead in the [illegible] vieu of the Enimye yett by devine p[ro]vidence pr[e]served his life this Certificate to be manifested before whome itt shalle come
