To all Christian People to whome these pr[e]sent writting shall come or in any wise app[er]teyne

These are to Certify vnto yow that the barer hereof Jeremyah Mallerd was borne att Beanacre in the p[ar]ish of Melkesham in the County of Wilts[hire] and did behaue & demeane himselfe very honestly towards all People, And from hence went a souldyer vnder the Comaund of Tho[mas] Eyres Esq[ui]r[e] And wee whose Names are here vnto subscribed doth Testifie the same. Witnes o[u]r Hands att Melkesham the Twentieth day of June in the yeare of o[u]r Lord God One Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Fower
