The certificate for Jane Watts of Yardley Hastings, Northamptonshire, 6 January 1668

These are to Certifie whom it may Concerne that John Watts of Yardley Hastings in the County of North[amp]ton[shire] laborer was wounded in the Kings servise & dyed in the tyme of the late warrs in Banbury Castle; & that Jane Watts his widdow is now liveing in Yardley aboues[ai]d & is both sicke & blinde not able any wise to helpe her self & is soe very poore that shee hath nothinge to subsist by; more then by the Charity of well disposed people & a Pention formerly alowed her by the Justices of this County In testimony whereof wee haue herevnto subscribed o[u]r hands this sixth day of January 1667.
