At the Request of the Bearer hereof Humphrey Wheelowes I doe hereby certifie that hee the said Humphrey Wheelowes dureing ye late warres did faithfully and loyally serve his late Sacred Ma[jes]tie of Blessed memory; and was a Serjeant vnder my command in Banbury Castle where he staid and demeand himself well vntill ye Rendition thereof. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand this 23rd day of January 1660.
