These are to certify whome it may concerne That Humphrey ap Robert Owen of the parish of Llanvaire Talhajarne in the County of Denbigh yeom[an] did truely & faithfully serve his late Ma[jes]ty king Charles the first (of blessed memory) in the late vnhappy warrs in the regiment of Col[one]l Hugh Wynne & in my Company and ever since continued loyall to his s[ai]d ma[jes]ty, as his Ma[jes]ty that now is & never deserted theire s[ai]d Ma[jes]tyes services as wittness my hand this 12th day of July 1679.
