I hearby sertifie that the bearer hearof Hugh ap John ap Euan hath bine a sould[i]orer in the redgement of Colonel William Winne vnder his on{e} coumpeny and has bine wounded in that serues befor Wem {illegible} he {h}ath likwise bin a souldour in Chester during the seig[e]r there he hopes your worships wil be pleased to take his condic[i]on into your consideratio[n] to have a shar amungst the maymed souldours.
