Theis may certifie his Ma[jes]ties Justices of the peace and Quoru[m] or whom Else it may concearne That the bearer of hereof Henry Atkinson Junior of Pennington within the Parish of Legh was Souldier and Trooper vnd[e]r his Highnesse Prince Ruporte vnd[e]r the Comand of Collonell Slater and was in severall feights and battles with him in this kingdome in the tyme of the late vsurpac[i]on and Rebellion ag[ains]t his late Ma[jes]ties of ever blessed memory and that ev[e]r since hath Continued Faithfull and Constante in the said Interest and service without alterac[i]on or change And as yet was never admitted to have any parte of his Ma[jes]ties grac[i]ous alloweance And beinge very poore and Impotent and in greate Misery doth most humbly beseech that hee may have some parte of his Ma[jes]ties grac[i]ous alloweance in such a case afforded.
