wee whose names are herevnto subscribed doe certifie that Henery Browne of Plympton St Mary was verie loyall to his majestie and in actuall service vnder the com[m]and of Collonell Digby, and a gunner to the last of the troubles And wee doe further certifie that he was a long time in the marshalls of Plymouth and by meanes thereof w[i]th some other hurts he haveinge receiued in the kings service he is beinge old feble and weake and thereby wee conceiue maymed havinge a wief and three poore children to mayntayne In Witnesse whereof wee haue heironto putt our hand the 25th day of July in the yere of our Lord god 1661
