Wee whose names are herevnto subscribed all his majesties loyall subjects doe certifie that George Batishill of Plympstocke in the County of Devon yeoman was a true and faithfull Subject to his Majestie and well affected to his gouerment and in actuall service for Charles the first our martered kinge of glorious memorie And wee doe further certifie that he was taken att Haltuesdayes fight by the parliament partie and Carryed into Plymouth Towne and there hanged for his loyaltie beinge beforehand plundred of all he had and Grace his poore widdowe left in sad distresse In testimony whereof wee haue herevnto sett our hands the first day of June in the yere of our Lord god 1662
