To the Right Worsh[ipful] Sir Gilbert Ireland or Sir Henry Slater Barronets or to any of his Ma[je]st[y’s] Justices of the peace w[i]th in the County of Lancast[er]

Thes are to sertyfye that the bearer here of George Clube was a listed and mustred souldyer in my Lord Mullinexe his Regiment and vnder my camand in seuerall battles and scirmiages in soe much that he is much disinabled of his body and not able to worke for his liueing and likewise hath suffered by way of Plunder all or the most part of his parsonell est[ate] in soe much he is not able to subsist giue[n] vnder my hand at Pottington the fourth day of aprill Ann[o] dom[ini] 1665
