The certificate for Francis Millington, Buckinghamshire, 3 December 1649

These are to Certify all whome it may Concerne that the berror hereof Fraunces Millington Served vnder my Commaund in the parleament Seruice in the County of Buck[ingham]s[hire]; from the 4th of March 1644 vnto the 13th January 1645 as a Tropper. and ther is due vnto the sayd Fraunces Millington for his sayd service nine weekes pay at 2 s. p[er] diem is the som of six pounds six shillings. Wherof you ar to deducte for 4 weeks Hay for his Horse 9 li. 8 s. 4 d. and for diett hee had in ethrope House 12 s. 8 d. the Hole sum to be abated is Twenty two shillings. So ther is due to him so to receaue the som of Fiue pounds fower shillings dureinge the time of his sayd seruice hee behaued himselfe Faithfully and valliently Licke a souldier and in a Fight [illegible] at Conny Lost the vse of his Left Hand. Witnes my Hand this 3th of December 1649.
