To the R[igh]t wor[shipfu]ll his Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of the peace for the Countie of Denbigh.
These are to certifie you that Evan ap Richard Owen of llangernew was a Souldier in my Company in the Regim[en]t of Col[one]l William Wyne, that hee is truelie loyall & indigent & hath neu[er] to ye best of my knowledge deserted his Ma[jes]ties or or his blessed fathers service dureing the late tyme of Rebellion & that hee hath not a sufficient liveliehood of his owne;
Wherefor I doe recomend him as a p[er]son fitt to receaue such an yearely penc[i]on as his Ma[jes]t[y]s lawes haue p[ro]vided for such truely loyall and indigent souldiers given vnder my hand this 22th Aprill in ye 15th yeare of his Ma[jes]t[y]s Raigne &c 1663.
